Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Emmersify and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the current period.

How does the free trial work?

The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged. The weekly plan has no free trial.

I bought a subscription but the app doesn't show it.

Open Emmersify's paywall or Settings and tap Restore Purchases, making sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Does Emmersify need an account?

No. There's no sign-up. Your saved words and progress are stored on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.

Which iPhones are supported?

Emmersify requires iOS 17 or later (iPhone XR, XS, SE 2nd generation, and newer).

Report content / copyright (DMCA) notice

Emmersify uses public-domain and U.S. government material. If you believe a clip infringes your copyright or should not appear in the app, email [email protected] with the subject “Content report”. We review every report and remove content promptly where appropriate.

For a formal copyright notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, please include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  3. Identification of the clip in Emmersify (its title and source shown on screen, or a screenshot) and where it appears.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
